OPTASE® Moist Heat Mask is simple to use. All you have to do is heat it in an 800 W microwave for 25 seconds, or for 15 seconds at 900 W or higher to give your eyes 10 minutes of the prescribed Moist Heat Therapy.

How long should I microwave the OPTASE Moist Heat Mask?
Do not wet the mask before heating; its beads absorb moisture from the air. Heat for 25 seconds at 800W or 15 seconds at 900W or higher. Never exceed 30 seconds. If reusing within 30 minutes, reduce heating time by 10 seconds. Test with your fingers before applying. If too hot, let it cool for one minute and test again.
How long do I wear the warmed mask?
Remove contact lenses and wear it over closed eyes for 10 minutes. Do not sleep in it.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a damp cloth and air-dry for at least 24 hours before reuse. Clean it promptly after contact with oil, food or dirt.
Can I use this mask cold?
Yes. Put it in a sealed plastic bag in the freezer for 30 minutes, then wear it over closed eyes for 5–7 minutes.
Does the OPTASE Moist Heat Mask contain latex?
Yes. The US instructions state that the head straps contain latex. If you have a latex allergy, do not assume this mask is latex-free; check with your healthcare professional before use.
