For frequent use or preservative sensitivity, PRO has a practical advantage. A person who has long used Balance successfully may still prefer its feel and should not switch solely because PRO is newer.

PRO is a daytime-capable emulsion, not an overnight ointment. Gel drops and ointments trade more viscosity and longer physical retention for a greater chance of temporary blur.
